  1. Who is RchPRINTING and what do they do?
RchPRINTING was formed from the merger of 2 companies in 2005. RchDIRECT, which was started by an ex RRDonnelley and Vertis director (Bob Houghton)in 2003, and a 26 year business support printing company in Trenton called Jeff the Printer. RchDIRECT's print products are the result of a network of large printers in the US who assigned manufacturing representive status to RchDIRECT to market to large businesses. JTP's products served small to mid size companies. The merger has cross-pollinated the capablities of each company into each other for the benefit of all clients.

  2. How long does it take for you to complete my order?
The answer is a function of the type of project we are creating for you. On-demand printing can often happen within hours of the transfer of approved files. Larger projects, such as those with quantities in the millions and multiple assempbly points can take over a month to create.

  3. Do I still need to approve a proof if I supply the artwork?
For many reasons, the proof protects us both. Files may not have tranfered properly, we may not have your type fonts in our system, the color may not be what you expect it to be, and worse, you may have made a typo that we didn't catch. We both become liable when the job has to be run again and we simply may not be able to run it in time.

So we have a safeguard. We require that you look at a proof and sign it before we print. That way everyone is happy when the job is finished.

  4. What are the comparative advantages of producing my job on your digital duplicating devices versus producing them on your presses?
The advantages of digital duplicating devices are best realized on runs of 1000 or less or when a fast turnaround is needed. If the piece included photos or halftone screens the copy quality would be lower than that achieved by the printing process, but can be very close on some of todays digital production machines.

The second advabtage of digital print production is that of customization or One-to-One Marketing. Black & White or Color Digital allows the sender to promote or inform based on the individual preferences of the recipient, thereby greatly increasing the likelyhood of a response and a sale. RchPRINTING is dedicated to the expansion of this capability to help our clients grow.

  5. How do I go about getting an estimate from you?
Well, since you are here, we would suggest you use our online estimate request form. Just click the link attached to this question.

Otherwise, to ensure that we get all the information necessary to do an accurate quote, give us a call at 609-883-6858 and talk with one of our customer service representatives or just stop in.

  6. I got an estimate from you on the design of my project and showed the design charges as a range. Why can't you tell me exactly how much it will be ahead of time?
Time and materials are the 2 factors that make up price. Generally speaking, the paper is the largest consumable material in a print job and also the most venerable to price changes. Therefore, we can only guarentee the price of materials for 30 days.

Although we will stand behind our print production pricing longer than 30 days, prepress and design time is priced as a true estimate when we first review a potential job. Preproduction time can vary greatly depending on our involvement in the development of the format and therefore may be more or less than we projected.

  7. Does RchPRINTING print prescription blanks?
Yes. We are an authorized vendor for New Jersey Prescription Blanks (NJPBs) and can handle any quantity from 500 on up.

We can also print prescription blanks for health care professionals from other states.

We also work with many drug reps who choose to pay for prescription blanks pre-printed with their product information.
